Lemon Dish Soap Bar

This dish soap bar beats the major liquid brands out there by a mile. Cut's grease, keeps your dish rags and sponges grease free and makes no trash!

Keep the dish soap bar on a drainable dry surface so that it won't get mushy. Use a moist brush, rag or sponge and rub onto soap bar until the desired amount has transferred and clean dishes normally. To use in small containers that require a bottle brush; use a knife to scrape small slivers of soap off into your container, add hot water and allow to dissolve. Use bottle brush to clean normally. Can also be used as a mechanics soap to remove car grease and oil when used with a scrubbing brush or cloth.
Warning: This dish soap bar is drying and has no moisturizing properties. It should not be used as an everyday hand or body soap bar. Follow use with moisturizer to avoid drying out skin.
Ingredients: Coconut oil, castor oil, lemon juice, sodium hydroxide (lye), lemon essential oil and dried lemon peel.
Recipient Feedback:
I went in trying this dish soap with a real prejudice thinking that nothing could beat my usual Ultra Dawn Dish Soap. I wash all of my dishes by hand and use a plastic bristle brush and a sponge cup cleaner. The bar soap is on a small plate next to my sink. (I like the size of the bar because it doesn’t take up too much kitchen counter space in my small kitchen.) I have used lots of other brands and always go back to Dawn because of its grease cutting power. On the first use of the bar soap, I was impressed that my stainless-steel pans seemed shinier. (I honestly thought it was a fluke.) Here is what I’ve discovered; the bar soap does not leave a film on all of my dishes and they are all cleaner than with the traditional dish soap. It cuts through grease with ease and breaks it down so that I’m not transferring grease onto other dishes. (I can’t believe I’m saying this, but much better than Dawn Dish soap!) It cuts through dried on food really well, making it easy to do dishes. It even has left my cleaning tools in better shape. (The sponge is cleaner and has absolutely no odor or mildew smell. This is a HUGE plus!) I appreciate the citrus smell and wish it were more evident. I thought that the soap would dissolve quickly like hand soap, but it is hearty and has barely reduced in size, even though I use it every day. I was excited to try a new product, but honestly did not have high hopes for it. I believe that this experience means that I will not go back to Dawn dish soap. This is a new concept that I am happy to rave about because I am so pleasantly surprised at how well it  cleans and ease of using this product! -  Kiirsi O. 05/2020
